SOAR
Frankfort Intermediate School offers an after-school childcare program called SOAR After-School Program. This program is for students in grades 1-6. The service is offered on school days beginning at dismissal time and running until 5:30 pm. Once the students check in the are supervised in a variety of activities: quiet study time, board games, puzzles, instructional/recreation videos, playground activities, art activities, etc. A daily snack and drink are provided. Staff is hired to keep a ratio of approximately 20 students to one supervisor. The cost is $3.00 per hour per child. A minimum charge of $3.00 per day is required. Parents must sign up their child(ren) the week prior to the needed services and payment is due at the time of sign-up. A non-refundable $10 registration fee is required to each child to enroll.
