 Lady Redbirds Win Regional Title Coach Matt Hampleman's Lady Redbirds were once again among the elite teams in southern Illinois and finished the year with a 22-6 record which included the IHSA Class 2A Regional Championship. FCHS ended its season at the Sectional Tournament at Du Quoin with a loss to conference rival Nashville who advanced to the girls state tournament in Peoria. |
Gena Jones Named First-Team All-State FCHS Senior Gena Jones capped a spectacular 2009-2010 season by earning First-Team All-State honors as selected by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. Jones scored more than 1,000 points during her four-year varsity career and received numerous accolades that included multiple selections to the River-To-River All-Conference Team and All-South Teams. |
