Frankfort Community School District #168 Implements New Student Management Software
As the 2008-2009 school year begins, district administrators and teachers will begin using a new software package designed to track students' information. SISK12 will allow us to keep much more detailed records of students' attendance, grading, discipline, health records and, of course, daily contact information in case of emergency. Also integrated into the system will be the ability for parents with high-speed internet access to login and check on their child's classroom progress, get details on disciplinary measures taken, find out about fees owed, and get attendance records. Parents who wish to use this system from their homes are asked to give to the school an e-mail address that they would like to use for communication with the school. E-mail addresses are kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone.

Student Record Keeping
If your child/children are students at one of our schools, we are asking for parents to contact the school district with any changes in parent names, addresses, or telephone numbers. We would like to get our new computerized student management system up and running with the most up-to-date information available. Please send and e-mail to our general mailbox, email@wfschools.org and include your changes. Also, in the future you will be able to receive updates on your child's progress within the school system by e-mail. But in order for that to happen, we need to have a record of your e-mail address. If you would like to take advantage of this service in the near future, please contact us by e-mail at our general mailbox, email@wfschools.org and give us your e-mail address, your name and the name of your child/children.
