Frankfort CUSD #168 School Board Re-Schedules Regular Meeting to Monday, September 23, 2019

The Frankfort Community Unit School District #168 Board of Education took action at their Regular Meeting of August 19 to amend the regular schedule of meetings in order to have the required amount of time to have the Tentative Budget on display. The Regular Meeting previously scheduled for Monday, September 16, 2019, has been changed to Monday, September 23, 2019. The meeting will still take place 
at 6 p.m. in the Library at Central Junior High School, located at 1500 East Ninth Street in West Frankfort. This will follow the Budget Hearing Scheduled for 5:50 p.m.

The Regular Meeting Schedule for the rest of Calendar Year 2019 is:

Monday, November 18, 2019
Monday, December 16, 2019

* Please note that the September 23 meeting is a change from the original schedule.
The information for the September 23 meeting will be posted in the required timeframe.

The regular scheduled meetings of the Frankfort Community Unit School District #168 Board of Education will be held on the following dates between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2019:

Unless otherwise notified with the proper timely notice, the meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Library of Central Junior High School, located at 1500 East Ninth Street in West Frankfort, Illinois.  Meetings are generally held on the Third Mondays unless there is a holiday.  Any adjustments of the Regular Meeting schedule with a change of venue, date, time, or location will result in specific notice to our partners in the media in the proper time frame.

Food Service Programs

District 168 is part of the National School Foods Program and has been approved as a Community Eligibility Provider (CEP) by the Illinois State Board of Education. The district offers free breakfast and lunch to all students. 

Sex Offender Notification

According to the Sex Offender Community Notification Law, 730 ILCS 152/120, parents of children attending Illinois public and private elementary or secondary schools have the right to information about sex offenders made available to the public.
