Two Special Meetings and the already scheduled Regular Meeting of the Frankfort Community Unit School District #168 Board of Education will be held on at Monday, April 28, 2025, in the Library at Central Junior High School, located at 1600 East Ninth Street in West Frankfort.
The first Special Meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m. and is for the purpose of approving minutes of previous meetings and considering a Resolution to Certify the Results of the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election. The Board will then adjourn sine die.
The second Special Meeting that is posted with an approximate start time of 5:50 p.m. will be an Organizational Meeting and will immediately follow the conclusion of the first Special Meeting. The purpose is to have recently elected Board Members repeat the Oath of Office; select officers; make appointments; approve a Code of Conduct; review Mandated Reporter Requirements; and approve the Board’s Meeting Dates, Times, and Locations.
Immediately following the second Special Meeting, at approximately 6:00 p.m. and as posted in the regular schedule for the year, the Regular Meeting of the Board of Education will be called to order.
