T'niyah Avant is a third grader at FIS and a real life superhero! During lunch today, one of T'niyah's classmates got a piece of food caught in his throat causing him to choke. Without hesitation, T'niyah performed the Heimlich Maneuver on her classmate which allowed him to breathe freely once again. When asked how she knew how to do the Heimlich Maneuver, she simply said, "I watched Baywatch!" 🛟
We are so proud of you, T'niyah, and thankful for your heroic act!! ❤️ This little girl is destined for big things!

Congratulations to Miss Alayna Coash and Mr. Michael Cunningham!! These outstanding 6th grade students were recently recognized at the annual IPA Student Recognition Breakfast held at Rend Lake College.
The Hamburglar came to visit our grade level winners. They raised the most money for The Ronald McDonald House.
