Fun science lesson in 4th Grade today! We got the opportunity to participate in a live session with two marine biologists in a Conservation in the Classroom lesson! It was an interactive lesson that focused on arctic marine mammals. Our students, along with other classrooms from across the country, were able to submit questions and interact live with the presenters!

When these 4th graders first started playing "I Have, Who Has" with math facts, their time was 7 minutes 45 seconds. These kiddos have worked so hard to beat their time each day. They continually set new records and yesterday, they beat any class I've ever had with a time of 1 minute 23 seconds! That's going to be hard to beat, but I bet they do it! Way to go!!

Jace Wall helped spread a little SUNSHINE to FIS staff members on Friday. This week’s donor to the Sunshine Cart was Larry Wall in remembrance of his brother, Brent Wall. Jace was so proud to deliver special treats in honor of his dad, Brent. Many teachers shared memories with Jace of having his dad in class. Priceless!

We had some cancelations last week. This is what we have this week. Friday the 10th, sectionals starts for wrestling. I know there will be wrestling on Saturday the 11th as well. When I get the times I will post them. Wednesday night is Senior night for our HS girls basketball team.
Our HS girls play Century tonight at home for just a Varsity game starting at 6:15
