On Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. a meeting conducted by the Frankfort CUSD #168 will take place at the Office of Student Services, 508 East Main Street, West Frankfort, IL. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools and/or home schools within the district for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are a parent of a home-schooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of Frankfort Community School district, you are urged to attend. On Friday, CTE students from FCHS visiting the SIU campus were able to surprise FCHS alum Dr. Bob Gower and his wife Beth as the ribbon was cut on the Gower Translational Research Center. FCUSD 168 and FCHS honor Dr. Bob Gower as he continues to give back to our area.
